What is Axe Throwing?
Axe throwing is a sport that involves competitors throwing an axe at a target, trying to get as close as they can to the bullseye. At Escape Room Mentor & Axe Throwing and Escape Room Middleburg & Axe Throwing locations, you and your friends have a choice of spending an hour or 1 and a half hours learning, practicing and then finally squaring off toe to toe in a group tournament that will result for bragging rights. Our Axe Throwing sessions are run by trained experts who will show you how to safely handle an axe and chuck it with accuracy while giving you plenty of tips along the way.
Can you bring your own food and drink?
Yes, absolutely! You can bring snacks, finger foods, pizza, or whatever food you want! You may also bring non-alcoholic beverages.
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol is prohibited on the premises. Please help us promote a “family-friendly” environment. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone that appears to be physically intoxicated without refund.

Safety training takes around 15 minutes, and includes signing your waiver.

Can I take pictures?
Will someone teach me how to throw an axe?
Absolutely! You will be with an instructor at all times. The first 15 minutes of your experience is spent learning the safety rules and procedures of how to handle an axe. With proper instruction, practice and by following our guided procedures, you will be able to safely throw an axe by the end of your session.
Can I tip my instructor?
We never want you to feel obligated to tip. However, if you think your instructor did a good job, you’re welcome to do so.
What is your refund policy?
We allow customers to change reservations up to 24 hours before their scheduled booking. You must contact us by phone or email. There are no additional fees for rescheduling of games.
There are NO refunds or reducing the amount of players after bookings.
We understand things happen, so if we are able to, we will work with our customers if it is within our power.
Special accommodations for corporate events: Generally, mornings and afternoons are available for corporate or private events.
Please note that we do have an expectation of reasonable behavioral conduct; if excessive rowdiness or misbehavior occurs, we reserve the right to cut your session short, and no refund will be granted.

Will we be with other people?
No. We are no longer mixing groups that do not book together, either for escape rooms or axe throwing lanes.
